The state pageant and the national pageant both have talent categories for INDIVIDUAL and GROUP talent competitors (group is two or more entrants in one routine). There is also one large talent blow out competition “Texas Talent Showcase” during the year for those only interested in talent competitions. Talent entries can be any type of talent, from singing and dancing to playing water glasses and performing monologues. Each entry has 3 minutes to showcase their specific routines. ALL costuming and content must be AGE APPROPRIATE and points will be deducted from any contestant or group that strays from that guideline. For example…if you are a great 7 year old singer, then “Red Neck Woman” or “I am Woman” would not be age appropriate. Please use your better judgment on all entries.
